Instituted on 7 June 1815 by King Friedrich Augustus 1. (Issued 1815 1918). I Model. 1815 1891. A white enameled Maltese cross with green enameled clovers in each quadrant, obverse centre features a finely hand painted crowned Saxon coat of arms, surrounded by the inscription FRIED. AUG. K. V. SACHSEN D. 7. JUN. 1815 (FRIEDRICH AUGUST KING OF SAXONY, 7 JUNE 1815), reverse centre medallion contains the four
