The white flowers start out as a star shape and turn into what looks like little pom poms. Birds enjoy the black fruit it produces. These flowers are tiny and frequently described as inconspicuous. Native to limestone habitats in South Florida, these plants like full sun to part shade and moist to dry soil. It is not salt tolerant.
