Polished Golden Amphibolite slab GA164 tube agate BJ134 Polished "Black Jade" AGA164 A slab, polished on one side. Dimensions at widest points approximately 190 mm x 150 mm x 15 mm thick. Weighs 1,149 grams. The amphibolite, most likely grunerite , has now been largely altered to hematite, goethite and quartz and it displays a beautiful golden iridescence. Also called "Gold Leaf Stone". It occurs in the Pilbara region of Western Australia on Abydos Station approximately 120 km south of Port Hedland.
