Pamplin Family JRG 2022 Region:Columbia Valley clove and cinnamon offer thought-provokingThis used to be the house blend of Bordeaux grapes, but over the years Cabernet Sauvignon has taken up an ever larger proportion of the blend. For this one, it's 100%. It is still the user friendly wine it has ever been, full throttle blackberry, blueberry fruit, with utterly seamless tannins and and seamless finish that lands with "a plum". Aged in a mix of new and neutral oak, there is a baking spice throughline, but it never stands in the way of
