A Kriegsmarine Narvik Campaign Shield Hold with a message in pencilA Narvik Schild; constructed of stamped gilt feinzink; the shield featuring national eagle with swooped down wings, clutching a wreathed swastika; inscribed Narvik in capital letters, with an Edelweiss flower (representing the Heer) in the center between the date 1940 and a crossed anchor (representing the Kriegsmarine) and propeller (representing the Luftwaffe) on the obverse; three of its four prongs intact on the reverse; unmarked; measuring 90 mm
