At the time, he was the president of the Church Of Latter Day Saints, or the Mormon Church in America. His idea was to fund a faith filled institute of higher learning named after himself and, as we known now, he was quite successful. BYU is located in Provo, UT and is the home to over 30,000 students. It's not just all academics and religion, though. They have sports too. The Cougars have won National
