Prussia, Kingdom. A Warrior Merit Medal United Republic of the steel ring frame is(Krieger Verdienstmedaille). Instituted 1835 by King Friedrich Wilhelm III. (1835 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and wreathed inscription of KRIEGER VERDIENST (WARRIOR MERIT), the reverse bearing the monogram of King Wilhelm I, unmarked, measuring 25. 03 mm in diameter, weighing 8. 1 grams, in extremely fine condition.
