Helle Allpass (1932 2000) came from a family of ceramists, she continued this tradition and opened her own studio, moving to an old farmstead in Espergrde, near Copenhagen in 1964. Her daughter has worked with her since the 1990s and took over the studio, which she continues to maintain to this day. Helle Allpass ceramics have become timeless classics of Danish art ceramics
