It is a natural hybrid of the grape varieties Cabernet Franc and Merlot and is grown worldwide exclusively at the Podere Il Carnasciale vineyard. This extraordinary experiment was initiated by the oenologist Peter Schilling, who extracts magic from the grapes. Il Carnasciale was aged up to the 2021 vintage just like Il Caberlot,
