バチカン図書館が所蔵する重要な書籍群と、イルマが制作した本が並列して展示されたこの展覧会では、「本」がいかに物理的なオブジェクトとして人・時間・空間に関与してきたかが示されました。バチカン図書館が作者に依頼してつくられたアーティストブックとなった本書は、製紙会社と共同開発した作者の名を冠する特殊紙「IBO One」が使用されており、前後のページの図版・テキストの裏抜けを取り込んだ大胆かつ美しいデザインで作者の制作書籍をまとめたもの。紙とレイアウトというシンプルな要素を用いて、展覧会の核となった本の物理性を見事にあらわした作品集です。
