Used for storing documents, money and other precious items it is made of solid Kiri wood (paulownia) front and Sugi wood case (Japanese cedar). Kodansu chest were a special piece used to store one's most valued items. Height = 30" Width = 24 Depth = 13. 5" This chest was well used and well loved and has a warm aged patina.
