自らと写真の関係性について思考したとき、彼はひときわ「地続き」という言葉を用いて、それについて語る。そしてその語りに呼応するように、本作で収録されている写真群は、大義を掲げることなく、彼が自然に歩みを重ねてきた地平にある風景を写している。彼の身体が反応した先にある風景を見たときの「どうしようもなさ」に、陳腐と化してしまった日常との間に横たわる私たちの知覚が変容していく、ある種の可能性を感じざるを得ないだろう。
