Constructed of bronzed aluminum, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with ribbed and gently pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by stylized rays, the obverse bearing a central circular oak leaf wreath overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central circular oak leaf
